Welcome Teachers! I hope your class has enjoyed reading about Skip and her adventures in The Fitch Tavern. To help you get the most out of the book, I’ve provided some discussion themes and activities on this page. I am also available for school visits (both physical and virtual) if your class would like to learn more about life in the Fitch Tavern.
Consider scheduling a school visit:
On site visits include a reading, a Q&A session and a short writing exercise. For longer visits I can include a colonial craft activity.
Two-hour visit = $250
Day visit = $600
Virtual visits can be arranged through Skype in thirty minute increments at a cost of $50.
