The Revolution

Skip arrives in colonial America at a critical time – just when the revolution is being planned.

Questions:

  1. Why were the colonists upset with the King of England?
  2. Why were newspapers considered to be “subversive”?
  3. Do you think all the colonists were for the revolution?
  4. The colonists had to pay taxes.  What did the taxes pay for in colonial times and what do they pay for today?
  5. Why do you think taverns were an important part of colonial life?
  6. Why was the hidden musket so important?
